FC Mansfield under new management played their match at their new home of the Queensway in the Forest Town area, but to get to the car park, you have to take the road before which is called Kingsway as Queensway is a dead end cul de sac, with a gap to walk through to the ground. The ground has 2 pitches,which this match was played on the top pitch which has quite a slope on it.

The changing room area houses 4 changing rooms and refs room and also a large room where they will be able to do refreshments in the future.

On arrival was met by both teams and got both teamsheets just as the match referee arrived and Id got a chair on the halfway line as the game kicked off.

The Colts were first to settle and on 5 minutes had the ball in the net but was ruled out through a offside decision, but on 11 minutes were in front when a cross from the left found out KAYNE MCKENNA tapped home from close range.

On 14 minutes, things got worse for the home side, when the Colts broke down the right hand side and crossed for a bullet of a header in to the net by CALLUM LAWSON to make it 2-0.

FC Mansfield pushed forward but a lot of their efforts were going high and wide until a shot in the 26th minute bought them back in to the game when LOUIS BENNETT fired home much to the delight of the crowd of 45 people watching.

This seemed to wake the Colts back up and they responded and took their two goal advantage back when in the 30th minute, when KAYNE MCKENNA cut in from the left and shot low in to the net to make it 3-1 to the visitors.

The Second Half seemed to be a bit more equal but on the hour, McKenna ht a shot that hit the post and CALLUM LAWSON was first to react to smack the ball home.

FC Mansfield then had their best period of the game winning quite a few free kicks but couldnt make their efforts count, the win for the Colts took them to the top of the table.
